Nikory Bath Treats Haul!!

 On Wednesday, October 12, I participated in Nikory Bath Treats Scavenger Hunt on her Facebook page and I was 1 of the 3 winners!!! I was SO excited to win because I have read EXCELLENT reviews of her bar soaps and wanted to give them a try for myself.

Once on her website, I could not decide which bar of soap I wanted to receive for my prize, so I decided to order one as well :)

I ordered the "BerryLicious" and requested "Chance" for my prize. I figured it would be a sample, but NO, I won a FULL SIZE bar of soap!! I placed the order and claimed my prize around 10pm EST and my order was shipped Priority USPS with my prize the very next day, SUPER FAST turn around time!

Now, onto the exciting part of this blog, the pictures! :)

 

Here is what everything looked like when I pulled it out of the bubble mailer. LOVE the bright colored tissue paper!

This is the BerryLicious soap that I ordered. This particular soap was from her clearance section and was $3.00 for a 5.50oz bar, which is a GREAT price. You'll have to check to see if it's still available (Her artfire shop is only open Mon-Fri). The scent description on the packaging reads: "A wonderful aromatic blend of boysenberries, elderberries, strawberries, guava, and pomegranate with a down of soft vanilla." I personally love it because I love fruity scents!

Here is the "Chance" soap that I received as my Scavenger Hunt prize. This soap is located under the SOAP section in her Artfire shop. This 5.70oz bar retails at $5.00 plus shipping. The scent description on the packaging reads: "A fragrance that embraces the aroma of a successful, ambitious woman who loves the finer things in life. This fragrance is a blend of citron, water hyacinth, jasmine, iris, teakwood, vetiver, patchouli, amber, and white musk." I really wanted this one since my husband's name is Chance and judging my the scent when I opened it, it's a scent that we will both be able to use :)

I received SEVERAL samples in this package and there is not one that I don't like, which surprises me because there are quite a few that are not bakery or fruity. Below you will find each sample:

 Chocolate Pumpkin Orange Soap Sample (the top is even sprinkled with cocoa powder) Scent Description: "A luscious blend sweet, rich chocolate and pumpkin blended with sweet orange essential oil."

Autumn Magik Soap Sample (this particular sample has a copper sheen to it)

Honey So Yummy Soap Sample. Scent Description: "Notes of Citrus, Honey-floral Bouquet, peach, apple and toffee, woodsy , musky. This is a dupe for HIWTK". The full size bar has a honeycomb pattern on top :)

Twigs N Berries Soap Sample (This sample has green glitter sprinkled on the top of it). Scent Description: "A fruity floral combination of strawberries, oranges, and apples; accompanied by sweet floral aromas of jasmine, rose geranium, and oakmoss."

 Shelter Soap Sample (This sample has blue mica sprinkled on the top of it). Scent Description: "This is a lush dupe for Comforter; An earthy element is created with patchouli, while fresh minty pennyroyal lifts the spicy tones. Sweet vanilla and soft musk are carefully balanced at the base of the scent.
Orange, bergamot, clove, mint, musk vanilla, patchouli."

Raspberry Sorbet Soap Sample (This one has glitter, sprinkles, AND a red sprinkle to make it look like a cherry on top). I LOVE this scent!!

Twilight Woods Soap Sample. Scent Description: "Juicy Berry, Soft Mimosa, Apricot Nectar, Vanilla Musk, Sensual Amber, Precious Woods.
Dupe for BBW twilight woods."

Vampire Kiss Soap Sample. Scent Description: "A distinctive fragrance with a sensation of texture, warmth, and femininity. Contains bottom notes of sandalwood, cedarwood, amber and vanila with alluring tops notes of bergamot, lavender and coriander."

"Chance" Body Frosting Sample.

 Purple Hooters Solid Perfume (I put this on right away because it smells SOOO good!). Scent Descriptions: "This fragrance is a wonderful blend of sparkling strawberries, raspberries, citrus greenery, and soft florals."

 Here's a photo of everything I received! I will definitely keep Nikory Bath Treats in mind when I start to run low on these items!! I would highly recommend that you check out her shop! Be sure to send her some love on Facebook too :)

Sinful Scents now carries Soy Shots! What's a Soy Shot?

Here is our Holiday Hunk Soy Shot:

The photo above is 100% Soy wax that has been poured into a convenient 2 oz cup. Why are these so convenient? When you receive your order, simply pop the wax out of the 2 oz cup and place the wax into your tart melter (you may have to slice it in 1/4 or 1/2 depending on the size of your warmer). Once the melt pool begins to form, you will start smelling the sinful aroma throughout your room. Depending on the size of the room, 1 tart may scent more than one room.

I'm mixing up some new product in the next few weeks, so I hope you're ready!  I have 2 new lip balm flavors coming your way: Butter Pecan and Iced Pineapple w/ Tangerine. The Butter Pecan will be made with Macadamia & Jojoba Oil and the Pineapple/Tangerine will be made with Shea Butter & Jojoba Oil. I have 10 new samples of fragrance oil coming, new essential oils, plus I'm expanding my line to soap bars! I have more soy wax and soy body butter coming so I can start on my Natural Products line up.

Nervous, but Thrilled!

Well, candles, lotions, lip balms, & tarts are all packed up. Setting up my mock table display tomorrow night to see how I want everything set up this weekend at the Leather & Lace Mounted Drill Team Fundraiser this weekend. I'm so excited, but so nervous at the same time. I just can't shake these butterflies in my stomach. Check out my new lotions, candles & lip balms:

FINALLY!

Well, I did it! I finally have items for sale on my Etsy shop & I'm super excited about it! I ordered all new supplies on Saturday for an upcoming craft show this month and I decided that since I only have 1 or 2 of each of the original batch left, they'd be better suited for my Etsy shop. The new supplies will be in this week, so this weekend is a busy weekend of wax melting & body butter blending!
So, my Valentine's Day line is going to be unveiled at the craft show! New scents include, but are not limited to, Red Velvet Cake, Chocolate Covered Cherries, Strawberries & Champagne, Coconut Lime Verbana, Acai Berries, Scandalous, First Kiss, and the list goes on. I'm also expanding my line into soy body butter as well! My first scent available is "Monkey Farts"-a tropical blend of bananas, pineapple, mango, etc (all the things that monkeys eat). I'm also creating a matching lip balm and candle, so that I can package them together as a gift set!
